Tatum Ranch is a master planned community located east of 40th St and between Dynamite and E Lone Mountain. There are approximately 3,400 homes in 30 unique neighborhoods, with housing options ranging in townhouses, condominiums, patio homes and single-family homes with majority of them being single level. There are three gated neighborhoods and you can find homes with golf views or desert views. Golf lots in Tatum Ranch generally tend to be more affordable than in other communities around the valley. There is a wide range of home sizes from around 1,300 square feet to over 4,000 square feet. The community is serviced by Cave Creek Unified School District and school aged children attend either Desert Willow Elementary or Lone Mountain Elementary, Sonoran Trails Middle School and Cactus Shadows High School District.
Tatum Ranch real estate provides a serene desert charm and was developed by SunCor Development Company from 1988 to 2001. SunCor’s mission was to retain the natural beauty of the surrounding desert land, which resulted in several washes in the community that provide natural areas with open space. Within the community is the Tatum Ranch Golf Club that was designed by Robert Culp. On the property, there is a restaurant, a newly renovated fitness center and a junior Olympic pool. There also are two City of Phoenix parks within or near the community, Desert Willow Park and Dynamite Park. Plenty of restaurants and stores are available for residents with the five commercial/retail sites around the community. Desert Ridge Marketplace, just south of the community, also provides additional options for shopping and dining.
The Loop 101 Freeway and State Route 51 are easily accessible, with Carefree Hwy , the quickest approach to Interstate 17, only 3 miles north. It is easy to visit the many top rated golf courses and shopping centers surrounding the area, like Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarters. The Phoenix Fire Station/Police are a few miles away, the premier Mayo Clinic Hospital is only 15 minutes away and the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is only a 30 minute drive.
