Lisa is a seasoned real estate broker who is licensed in both California and Arizona. She has been working in residential real estate with buyers, sellers, and large investment groups since 1998. Lisa has sold hundreds of homes throughout her career. As a repeat award-winner for highest sales volume, she has always believed consistency and great customer service are the reasons she has continued to receive repeat referrals from past-and-present clients. In 2023, Zillow awarded Lisa the Zillow “Top Agent” badge, which only 15% of the all top agents earn nationally, for excellence, in their field.
Lisa is a member of the National Association of Realtors®, North San Diego County Association of Realtors® and a Certified Short Sale Negotiator®. Lisa originally earned her license in 1998 in Arizona. Later, she earned her broker’s license in 2005 and then her California license in 2017. In 2019, she earned an NMLS license, to become an expert in mortgage financing. She has earned multiple degrees including a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Broadcast Journalism, and a 2nd degree in Psychology. She brings more than 26 years of real estate sales experience to her clients.
After graduating from NMSU, she worked for the local TV station as a reporter/news anchor for a brief period, before moving to Scottsdale, Arizona, where she started her real estate business in 1998. While residing in Scottsdale, Arizona, Lisa attended a two-year accelerated Registered Nursing (RN) program at Carrington Private College, where she earned perfect attendance and was on the President’s List numerous semesters. She was also the former “Calendar Girl” radio personality on the “Daily Blender” morning show, responsible for broadcasting weekend events every Friday “on air” for the community.
She is an advocate for the local community, and has regularly volunteered in her area. She has traveled to Mexico, on day trips, to help her neighbors South of the border. Lisa served on the board of “Child Help”, an organization that helps children, who are victims of physical and sexual abuse. She regularly volunteers for the organization, “Feed My Starving Children”, a meal-packing charity which helps to feed thousands of children throughout the world.
In her free time, Lisa attends her favorite neighborhood hot yoga class. She has been practicing yoga since 2005 and is currently earning her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification through Yoga Alliance and Mira Costa College. This Spring, Lisa is spending a month in Bali, Indonesia, to earn her 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification. When she’s not working in real estate, Lisa is passionate about using the transformative healing of Somatic Yoga movements to help others heal from physical, mental, or emotional trauma.
Lisa moved to Encinitas, California in 2017, where she is currently working with Westhaven Real Estate in San Diego. She has a great deal of experience working with top-producing Zillow Teams in Southern California. Before advancing to Westhaven, Lisa worked with eHomes and Compass, San Diego. Lisa has sold many properties throughout San Diego, and specializes in the North County area, which includes Encinitas, Carlsbad, San Marcos, Solana Beach, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Oceanside, Vista, Fallbrook, North San Diego and Escondido among many others in the San Diego County district.
